A Poem by Kristine Amundrud

The celestial aurora showed up on Sunday

Merry dancers threw an unexpected party,

with turquoise streamers, lighting the way

for the finite souls

Light beams to awaken

the tired and jostled spirit

God’s way of catching

the sleeper’s attention

A message

straight from Emmanuel

Reminding ground dwellers

that he speaks

through silence

amidst infinite spaces

between magnetic fields

in the thick of darkness

What’s his message for you?
