A Poem by Noah Thomas
If you met a better god,
You might keep doing something
You were doing before
With a little wind
Drop your “aught” to light the world
And reflect the shine of older eyes
Maybe that’s where all the saints are,
Maybe that’s where heaven is
Drop the thought to change the world
And be forgotten on purpose.
