What must it have been like

to feel Emmanuel moving from within,

to wonder what features he would have,

when his earthly life would begin?

Only one person knew,

only one person was gifted,

Light and Love grew inside her womb,

and the whole world       shifted.

Stephanie Nygaard lives in Illinois with her husband and three daughters. She spends her days homeschooling, reading, writing, and noticing the beauty around her. Stephanie’s first collection of poetry, Beautiful Glimpse, was published through Amazon in November 2023.
