This Fall Sunset

A Poem by Patrick Michael

Orange and red were never

my favorite colors but this

peculiar evening they shined different,

like a golden furnace ablaze

its winding waves were moving on the horizon fast,

holding tight to nature's masterpiece.

I turned to my lover and expressed

words of love and the night

went on forever.

Patrick Michael is a young man who loves God, great food, and has a natural desire to write creatively. He lives in Fontana, California where he supports his local football team through coaching young athletes.
